We find that the colour rendition is accurate and the contrast ratio allows sufficient detail in both the highlights and the shadows to accurately edit images. All of this in a small quiet package - hard to imagine a better buy. I don't know what the other guy is talking about with repairs, but I have taken this thing all over two continents (well packed) and it has never skipped a beat. I have movies and video games at a great HD quality (with the proper cables) on 116 inches without a bit of fuzz or distortion. 3000 lumens makes it bright enough to see during the day with ease. I'll never buy a tv again. It has been in for repair more than I have used it and it costs me shipping every time I have to have it repaired under warranty. I spent over $100.00 in shipping for a projector that has been used for less than 150 hours and did without it for more than I have used it. In the meantime I purchased an Optima projector at less than 1/5th of the cost and have had no problems with it. I purchased a Viewsonic thinking the brand name would assure me of quality. After less than 70 hours of use the cooling fan quit so the lamp would not come on. I paid for shipping to send it in for repair. Three weeks later a replacement arrived. It was decaled up, scratched, and had nearly 170 hours on the lamp. My own was like new. After only 4 or 5 uses it developed the same problem. Intermittent at first and increasingly worse until it quit operating. Again I paid to ship it in for repair... Read more |
