I had previously ordered the entire housing and bulb but found this to be a cheaper option. The replacement of the bulb into the housing was quite simple. I gave it four stars because there were a couple of times where the TV picture has gone out and the warning LED for Bulb Replacement on my television began to flash as if the bulb was bad. I simply waited a few seconds and turned the TV back on and it worked fine. I don't know that the bulb was in fact the culprit but I do know that I never had that problem with the other two replacements (different brand) I had previously installed. I wasn't happy when it first happened and I thought the bulb had burned out after I just purchased it. It's been several months though and things are working properly.
