Last time I went looking for projectors they were all massive, with prices to match. Now this... Hooray! My jaw dropped when I saw how small and inexpensive this thing was. Why hadn't I ever seen one before? I ordered it as soon as I could. Glad I did! Hooking it up to my computer via the VGA adapter, I now have a GIANT screen I can switch to for watching movies and whatnot that takes up ALMOST NO SPACE! Whoa! The fact that it's battery powered and has a micro SD slot for viewing on the go is impressively ridiculous. You'll need a low-light environment a'course. But I am satisfied with the image emitted from this unit. Quality and color are great! Highly recommend, and look forward to what the future holds for, this item. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By GBlakemore (Aurora, IL) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Optoma PK120 DLP, 18 Lumen Pico Projector (Office Product) Just received my projector and so far I'm pleased. I purchased this item to use at small community organization meetings. Really tired of carrying the larger and heavier projector. For such a relatively expensive item you would think that the User Manual would be readily available---but it isn't. This was irritating---at least to me.If you need a User's manual it's not on the Optomausa User's Manual page-----here is the information I was given by the company. go to [...] > Entertainment> Pico > PK120 > downloads > user manual. Who knew? I have no idea why it is not on the usual User's Manual page but it isn't. BTW, If using with an IPAD...please have a micro USB with the IPAD connection on the other end (or some type of adapter that turns your mini USB into a micro USB). This projector does NOT come with this connector. I think there is an optional kit located at Amazon. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Optoma PK120 DLP, 18 Lumen Pico Projector (Office Product) My wife and I purchased this item as we wanted to share our pictures with family and friends that we took in Alaska. (1)To begin with all the needed cables were not included (2)there was no user manual included and when I tried to download it it would not download (3)when I called the customer support # the person(guy) on the phone was less than helpful, and he told me in no uncertain terms that I should just return or send the item back which is what I did. If the Co goes broke it will be no suprise to me with a customer support line like that. |
